I’m Irene Martinez Costa, a Spanish-British Designer & Art Director with over 12 years’ experience in publishing. During that time, I've collaborated with Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Bloomsbury, Simon & Schuster and independent publishers worldwide.

I believe every book deserves its own visual identity. My approach is concept-led, adapting typography, illustration, photography and art direction to suit each story, audience and market. This has allowed me to build a diverse portfolio united by thoughtful ideas, strong visual storytelling and designed to connect with both the story and its readers.
